They started using Willard’s Water personally in the fall of 1981. By early in 1982, after the proverbial “one thing led to another” scenario, they got involved in the marketing of this amazing product, and have done this full-time (or more than full-time) ever since.
It was the benefits Kolleen received from Willard’s Water that resulted in their making the total change in the course of their lives of immersing themselves into the marketing of it.
To elaborate, she had experienced chronic back pain for the previous 21 years, as well as multiple bouts of bronchitis every year. Both those problems disappeared within a couple months of starting on Willard’s Water. However, after several months of relief, her benefits suddenly went away, and her pain returned. On top of that, other people that the Sundes had introduced to Willard’s Water also began reporting that the product wasn’t working for them any longer either. This led the Sundes and their friends to assume a person’s body might build a tolerance to the Willard’s Water, causing the benefits to stop.
But then came a “chance” meeting with a near-stranger, that put that assumption in doubt. The near stranger tipped the Sundes off to the fact that the company they had been purchasing the WW from had switched to an imitation product, but since that company had always sold it with its own brand name on the label, it didn’t change the product name and therefore nobody — including the Sundes — had any idea that it was no longer Real Willard’s Water.
Kolleen made a visit to that company’s headquarters the next day and got confirmation that what they had, and what they had been getting since October of that year (which was when Kolleen’s benefits had ceased) was a “new product” which they said was “even better” than WW!
But Charlie still had a small bottle that had the Willards’ own label on it, so without telling Kolleen, he switched her back to the REAL thing. Two days later, Kolleen told Charlie she really owed that company an apology because some of their new stuff was just fine. Charlie asked how she could tell and she said “because my back is limbering up again”. That’s when Charlie laughed and told her about the “switch” he’d pulled on her and that the product now working again for her, was the REAL Willard’s Water. So, the Sundes got their hands on some more of the actual Willard product and sent it to the other people they knew who thought they had become “immune” to WW, without telling them of the “switch” but just saying maybe they should give it one more try. They ALL got back to the Sundes to say it was working again, and wondered if they’d mixed it up wrong, or had a bad bottle or something… the Sundes said they were quite sure it had been a “bad bottle” and only then did the Sundes tell those people about the switch that had occurred.
All of that solidified the Sundes’ belief in the merit of this amazing product, and convinced them to get more involved in the marketing of it, if for no other reason than to make sure they themselves and everyone else could always get the real thing! The rest is history, as they say. As to what it’s been like working with the Willards and how the distributorship has gone… It didn’t take long after first meeting and starting to work with Dr. (“Doc”) Willard and his sons, John, Jr., and Bill, for the Sundes to feel a real friendship with all of them, that has continued through the years. Though sadly, both Doc and Bill are gone now, John, Jr. and Kolleen and Charlie still feel the same friendship. And over the last year or so, Kolleen and Charlie have also enjoyed working with and getting to know “John III” — John Jr’s son and Doc’s grandson — who has become very involved in the company.
From the time the Sundes began working with the Willards, Kolleen and Doc developed a very close relationship. Kolleen felt like Doc was like a second father or grandfather to her. They could spend hours talking.. with Doc often trying to explain chemistry to Kolleen despite Kolleen’s total lack of abilities in such areas.
In fact, the Sundes and Doc Willard and his sons and firm had such mutual high regard for each other and the way they conducted their businesses that when Doc finally perfected his product and came up with his third and final formulation of it, which Doc regarded as his ultimate version of his catalyst, Doc and his firm decided it would be marketed exclusively by the Sundes’ firm, and so to this day, it is only available from their firm, Nutrition Coalition, Inc.
This was to try to prevent the various marketing problems already existing at that time with the Clear and the Triple X versions, from also happening with the “New & Improved”, which Sundes have marketed as Real Willard’s Water Dark XLR-8 PLUS, and have more recently begun referring to it “in short” as “The Ultimate Dark RWW” since that’s truly what it was and is. It is more than twice as strong a catalyst as the Triple X, and most people who have tried the various versions, prefer the Ultimate Dark version. But, the Clear and the Triple X are incredible products as well, and many people simply start out with one of them and are so pleased with it that they never even try any of the other versions.
As to how the distributorship has gone… it’s definitely had its challenges given the uniqueness of the product and the pioneering that needed to be done. The biggest problem and challenge has been the incredible numbers of imitation products that have sprung up from time-to-time, as well as problems with product turning up in the marketplace that has had too much plain water added to it, by third party bottlers. Such things have created tremendous difficulties in explaining to consumers why some products being sold as WW were “so cheap”… in such cases, you really got what you paid for, but not what you were led to believe you were paying for.
Fortunately, the problems with imitation products and diluted products are decreasing and with the growing interest in this amazing and unique product, we are looking forward to bringing it to more and more people, and to increasing consumers’ understanding of this product that is truly like no other.
